Here are a couple of examples showcasing what my typical process looks like. Of course, this might vary from project to project, but I most often start out with a couple of rough hand drawn sketches. Once a concept has been approved, the sketch serve as a starting point for further development - blocking in colors or refining the shapes in Illustrator. On request I can also render a portion of the image to give the client an idea of how shapes, colors and textures will work together!
